Behavioural Profiling - Reflect upon your style

At HorizonOne we aim to use every ounce of information available to assist in providing our candidates with the highest level of service. Remember, we are looking to find not only the right role for you now, but also the one in line with your longer term personal and career aspirations. One important tool that we use to gain insight is a work based behavioural assessment called MyProfile.

Why use MyProfile? And how does it help me find a great job?

MyProfile makes a broad assessment of your behavioural style. It identifies you as being predominately a Driver, Promoter, Supporter or Administrator, or a combination of these styles. Your individual profile indicates among other things what sort of work you like, how you interact with others, what management style you best work to, and how you communicate. Click here for a more detailed description of the MyProfile behavioural styles.

For your HorizonOne consultant, this information allows a broader understanding of how you operate in the workplace, and provides a useful insight into the type of organisation, role and team in which you will thrive. It is the extra 10% - 15% of information that allows us to make appropriate judgements about the right job ‘fit’, and it helps us to provide appropriate advice and guidance on career decision making.

What is involved?

We invite all candidates who register with HorizonOne to complete a MyProfile behavioural assessment which is a short (up to 15 minute) online questionnaire. A report is issued by MyProfile and you receive a copy by email. Of course HorizonOne’s Privacy Policy applies to this report, as with all other personal information we retain.

A final word

There is no question that MyProfile assists in matching our candidates to a role, or even a career - however it is important to remember this forms only one part of the overall picture and the reports are never viewed in isolation. Nothing can replace the experience and understanding of our consultants, nor the nuances of both the candidate and the client organisation.
